Amending a Notice—Referenda (Closing of Preliminary Referendum Rolls) Notice 2015

Further to the Electoral Commission’s notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 September 2015, Issue No. 98, Notice No. 2015-au5273, with regard to the preliminary closing of the rolls for the referendums, and following the enactment of the New Zealand Flag Referendums Amendment Act 2015, the Explanatory Note is amended by replacing

“voters will be asked which of four alternative flags is preferred by voters”

with

“voters will be asked which of five alternative flags is preferred by voters”.
