A PROCLAMATION

I, Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare that, pursuant to the Electoral Act 1993, I have today signed the Writ authorising and requiring the Electoral Commission to conduct a general election.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, on 20 August 2014.
