Fisheries Act 1996

Fisheries (RCO 3 Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2014 (No. MPI 352)

Pursuant to section 13(7) of the Fisheries Act 1996 (“the Act”), the Minister for Primary Industries gives the following notice after consultation in accordance with section 12 of the Act and after having regard to the matters specified in section 13 of the Act.

Notice

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (RCO 3 Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2014.
2. Commencement—This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
3. RCO 3 Fishery defined—The RCO 3 Fishery is the red cod fishery carried on in red cod quota management area 3 as defined in the Fisheries (Quota Management Areas, Total Allowable Catches, and Catch Histories) Notice 1986, Schedule 1, “Redcod”, Item D.
4. Total allowable catch for the RCO 3 Fishery increased for 2013–2014 fishing year—The total allowable catch for the RCO 3 Fishery for the 2013–2014 fishing year is increased from 4,930 to 5,761 tonnes greenweight in accordance with section 13(7) of the Fisheries Act 1996.

1. This notice may be cited as the Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice No. 16.
