Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Motumaoho School Board of Trustees (1835)

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Motumaoho School Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the Board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the Board to establish procedures and processes (whether statutory or otherwise) for school-wide self-review.

A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following matters:

• Curriculum management, including teaching and assessment practices, and performance management systems.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Revocation of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Opihi College Board of Trustees (354) (Temuka)

Under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989, (acting under delegated authority) I hereby revoke the notice (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 November 2012, No. 134, page 3859) appointing a limited statutory manager for the Opihi College Board of Trustees.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Amendment of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Puaha o Waikato Board of Trustees (1151)

Under section 78M(6) of the Education Act 1989, acting under delegated authority, the notice (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 April 2014, No. 42, page 1242), directing the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Puaha o Waikato Board of Trustees is amended by this notice.

The following functions, powers and duties are vested in the limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board in employment (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board in relation to property management (whether statutory or otherwise).

No other functions, powers or duties are vested in the limited statutory manager.

A limited statutory manager may also advise the board on the following matters:

• Planning and reporting including charter review, strategic planning; and
• school-wide self-review; and
• complaints procedures.

Revocation of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Wyndham School Board of Trustees (4054)

Under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989, (acting under delegated authority) I hereby revoke the notice (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2014, No. 1, page 33) appointing a limited statutory manager for the Wyndham School Board of Trustees.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Education (Early Childhood Services)

Regulations 2008

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 11 July 2012, which was granted under those Regulations to Margaret Peapell in respect of Central Baptist Childcare (34009), situated at 33 Charlemont Street, Whitiora, Hamilton.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
