National War Memorial Park Review Panel Recommendations on National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Act Order 2014
Pursuant to section 28(6) of the National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Act 2012 ("Act"), the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage gives the following notice.

Title—This notice is the National War Memorial Park Review Panel Recommendations on the National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Act Order 2014.

Review Panel recommendation—The National War Memorial Park Review Panel made the following recommendation under section 28(3) of the Act to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage:
“The Review Panel unanimously recommends to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage that the National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Act Order 2014 (version PCO 18481/8.0) be made without change.”

Notice Amending Tariff Concession References Relating to Tobacco Products and Establishing a Concession Reference for Building Materials
Pursuant to section 9 of the Tariff Act 1988, notice is hereby given of the making of an Order in Council under the Tariff Act 1988 that amends concession references relating to tobacco products and establishes a concession reference for building materials.

Title—The Order in Council is the Tariff (Concessions) Amendment Order 2014.

Commencement—The Order in Council was made on 23 June 2014 and will come into force on 1 July 2014 for the concession reference for building materials and 1 November 2014 for the amendments to the concession references relating to tobacco products.

Effect of the Order in Council—The Order in Council amends Part 2 of the Tariff of New Zealand so that:
(a) the gift concession for tobacco products is removed under concession reference number 75;
(b) the incoming travellers’ duty-free allowance for tobacco products under concession reference number 82 is reduced to “either 50 cigarettes, or 50 grams of tobacco or cigars, or a mixture of cigarettes, tobacco or cigars that weighs not more than 50 grams”;
(c) a concession reference number 94 is established for “goods of a kind used in the construction of a residential dwelling as may be approved by the Minister and subject to such conditions as the Minister thinks fit”.

Availability—The Working Tariff Document containing the changes to Part 2 of the Tariff:
(a) can be viewed on the New Zealand Customs Service website

(c) is available for inspection during working hours, free of charge, at the following places:

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Waiuku Primary School (1559)
Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989 (acting under delegated authority), I direct Group Manager, Sector Enablement and Support, to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Waiuku Primary School.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
- All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
- all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise); and
- all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage communications relating to the areas of employment and student achievement (whether statutory or otherwise).
A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following matter:
- Board systems and processes.
This notice takes effect on the day of publication.
