Notice of Vacancy in Seat in House of Representatives

Pursuant to section 134(1) of the Electoral Act 1993,
I, David Cunningham Carter, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Shane Geoffrey Jones has resigned his seat in the House of Representatives effective at the conclusion of Thursday, 22 May 2014, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.
