Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Earnshaw, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated the 22nd day of November 2013 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 November 2013, No. 159, page 4431, by deleting the words

“SO 406748”

in the Second and Third Schedules and replacing them with

“SO 474348”

on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Road, and Road Stopped and Amalgamated—Mangatawhiri Road, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Earnshaw, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20(1) declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road and shall vest in the Waikato District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA31C/738, subject to Gazette Notice 638647.1 and Mortgage 9578224.3.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Earnshaw, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1 and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 488681, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Mortgage 8379447.1;

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 488682, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Mortgage 8379447.1;

(d) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portions of road described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52, set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) which shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
