Notice of Claim

This notice is pursuant to section 101(2) of the Public Trust Act 2001.

To all creditors and claimants of FLANDERS PACIFIC LIMITED (a company that ceased trading on 29 April 2005):

The sum of $10,302.17 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has now been lodged by the shareholders of FLANDERS PACIFIC LIMITED.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to the shareholders of FLANDERS PACIFIC LIMITED, subject to no notice of an alternative claim being received on or prior to 29 May 2014.

Any persons having any interest in priority to the claimant must submit a claim to Public Trust, PO Box 13245, Tauranga Central, Tauranga 3141 (Attention: Trish Voelkerling) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Note: This is the first and only notice of this claim.

to the office of Secretary and Registrar of The Queen’s Service Order, The Order of New Zealand, and The New Zealand Order of Merit, during Her Majesty’s pleasure, in place of Rebecca Lucy Kitteridge, CVO, with effect from 18 March 2014.

Notice Setting the Criteria for Selecting New Zealand Food Safety Science and Research Centre Workshop Participants

General Introduction

The Government is establishing a New Zealand Food Safety Science and Research Centre (“Centre”) to promote, coordinate and deliver food safety science and research for New Zealand.

The establishment of the Centre represents an increase in the funding available for food safety science and research, and will ensure that the New Zealand food safety system remains among the best in the world.

The Government invites expressions of interest from New Zealand-based research organisations to participate in a collaborative workshop (“Workshop”) where the structure, governance and functions of the Centre will be refined.

A detailed Request for Proposals (RfP) for the hosting of the Centre will be released following the Workshop.

This RfP will be limited to the research organisations selected to attend the Workshop.

The Science Board will make the final funding decision on the Centre following this RfP.

1. Notice to the Science Board

In this notice, I:

(a) specify that the Science Board is to select research organisations to participate in the Workshop under section 10(3)(b) of the Research, Science and Technology Act 2010 (“Act”);

(b) set the criteria the Science Board must use when selecting research organisations to participate in the Workshop under section 8(1) of the Act; and

(c) specify that the final funding decision on the Centre will be made by the Science Board, and will be limited to the research organisations selected to participate in the Workshop under section 10(3)(b) of the Act.
