Statement of Export Credit Office Guarantee

Given Under the Public Finance Act 1989

Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

“On 4 April 2014, the Deputy Secretary, Financial Operations and Head of NZDMO acting for and on behalf of the Honourable Bill English, Minister of Finance on behalf of the Crown, provided a New Zealand Export Credit Office General Contract Bond Guarantee to ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited to support the issue of Performance Bonds on behalf of a New Zealand exporter. The New Zealand Export Credit Office maximum guarantee liability is USD 38,747,000. A premium, commensurate with the risk, will be paid for this Guarantee.”

Education (Proposed Investment Plans: Requirements, Content, Submission and Assessment; and Plan Summaries) Notice 2014

Pursuant to sections 159R, 159Y and 159YO of the Education Act 1989, the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Education (Proposed Investment Plans: Requirements, Content, Submission and Assessment; and Plan Summaries) Notice 2014.

2. Commencement—This notice applies from the date of its publication.

3. Application—This notice revokes and replaces the following notices:

   • the Education (Proposed Investment Plans: Requirements, Content, Submission and Assessment) Notice 2012 No. 21; and
   • the Education (Proposed Investment Plans: Requirements, Content, Submission and Assessment) Notice 2013²; and
   • the Education (Matters That An Organisation That Has a Plan Must Include in a Plan Summary) Notice.³

4. Introduction—A number of the funding mechanisms determined by the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment under section 159L of the Education Act 1989 specify that the TEC must pay funding under a Plan.
