Road Realignment—State Highway 30, Te Teko, Whakatane District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, shall become limited access road and State highway;
(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, shall become limited access road and State highway excluding, as to the land secondly described, those minerals not acquired by Gazette Notice H178462 and all shall be vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Setting Apart Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to sections 338(1)(a) and 338(1)(b) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be set apart as a Māori reservation for the benefit of the descendants of Wiremu Parata Te Kakakura (Wi Parata), being a place of cultural and historical significance, as a wāhi tapu, being a place of special significance according to tikanga Māori.
