Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code of Practice
Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), the Environmental Protection Authority gives notice that it intends to apply for approval of the code of practice HSNOCOP 57 Location of Class 3.1 Hazardous Substances.
The purpose of this code of practice is to provide a means of compliance, with the requirements of:
- Schedule 10 clauses 3, 4, 10 to 16, 18, 24 to 32 and 33(1)(b) of the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended); and
- Clauses 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34 to 43 and 44(1)(b) of the Site and Storage Conditions for Class 3.1 Flammable Liquids for flammable liquids in stores and workrooms.

Financial Advisers Act 2008
Notice Under Section 147B of the Financial Advisers Act 2008
Pursuant to section 147B(1)(d) of the Financial Advisers Act 2008, the Financial Markets Authority gives notice of the issue of a second consultation paper on the proposed Regulatory Reporting Guide for Authorised Financial Advisers.
The Regulatory Reporting Guide is referred to in Standard Condition 2 of the Standard Conditions for Authorised Financial Advisers.
The Regulatory Reporting Guide relates to a reporting requirement for authorised financial advisers and will assist Financial Markets Authority to understand the profiles of those advisers and focus its resources more appropriately in monitoring the authorised financial adviser population.
Accordingly, the Financial Markets Authority considers that the Regulatory Reporting Guide should apply to the current authorisations of financial advisers ahead of the renewal of those authorisations.
The Second Consultation Paper: Regulatory Reporting Guide for Authorised Financial Advisers is available on the Financial Markets Authority’s website at:
