Pursuant to section 52(4) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Kerry McPhail, Land Information New Zealand, declares that the land described in the Schedule to this notice be set apart for local purpose (esplanade) reserve and shall remain vested in the Tasman District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, and Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise the Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Partnerships Manager for the Wellington Office of the Lower North Island Region of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation over the reserve described in the Schedule and declares the land may be disposed of by the Kapiti Coast District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any sale to be paid into its reserves development fund for the purposes of acquiring new reserves or developing its reserves network.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart General Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, recreation ground, sports ground, building site, well and a place of cultural and historical interests for the common use and benefit of all those whose whakapapa makes them eligible to be members of Te Rūnanga o Koukourārata Society Incorporated.

The Conservation Partnerships Manager North Canterbury/Christchurch, Department of Conservation, hereby amends the notice with the above heading, dated the 5th day of February 2013 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 February 2014, No. 17, page 388, by deleting the heading

“Authorisation of the Exchange of Reserve for Other Land and Classification of Reserves”

and replacing with

“Classification of Reserves”.
