TARIFF CONCESSION APPROVALS, WITHDRAWALS AND DECLINES NOTICE (NO.1) 2014

I, Allwyn John Netto, Chief Customs Officer, New Zealand Customs Service, acting pursuant to section 8 of the Tariff Act 1988 under delegated authority hereby:

(a) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the First Schedule to this notice the rates of duty or exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified

(b) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Second Schedule to this notice the exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified subject however to such purposes and conditions which I prescribe

(c) Withdraw with effect fourteen days from the date of this Gazette, or otherwise at the date so specified, the approvals granted in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Third Schedule to this notice.

X BUSTER, RANGER OR TRACKSUITS
A two or three piece set of knitted fabric consisting of a top with a maximum chest measurement of 61cm (being the circumference of the chest measured at the armpits) and/or a coat/jacket with or without hood made from knitted fabric. The maximum length shall be 51cm*. Jackets must have a maximum chest measurement (being the circumference of a coat of the chest measured at the armpits) not exceeding 72cm AND a maximum length not exceeding 46cm; and legless, or short or long legged trousers with a maximum waist-crotch waist measurement of 51cm or maximum length of 56cm, whichever applies (NOTE: where leg terminates in an elasticised ankle band or a turn-up cuff, measurement along outside of leg to bottom of elastic band or to bottom of cuff when turned down, is not to exceed 61cm) 310140B 1/88
X CARDIGANS, JERSEYS, JUMPERS, PULLOVERS, WAISTCOATS AND SIMILAR ARTICLES
Outer garment either sleeveless, short or long sleeved, with or without buttons or slide fasteners, and with or without hood, maximum size 61cm chest (being the circumference of the chest measured at the armpits) 310141L 11/05
X COATS OR JACKETS
With or without hood, made from knitted fabric, designed to be worn over other outer garments. The maximum length of a coat shall be 51cm*. Jackets must have a maximum chest measurement (being the circumference of the chest measured at the armpits) not exceeding 72cm AND a maximum length not exceeding 46cm 310142J 1/88

Sleeved garment, knitted, worn indoors over sleeping apparel (attention is drawn to the provisions of the Product Safety Standards (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear Having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2008). Maximum length 69cm* 310157G 1/88
X PYJAMAS MADE FROM KNITTED FABRIC
Two piece sleeping suit consisting of trousers with or without closed feet and separate top (attention is drawn to the provisions of the Product Safety Standards (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear Having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2008). Maximum 61cm chest (being the circumference of the chest measured at the armpits) 310143G 1/88
