Road Realignment—State Highway 2, Rimutaka, Upper Hutt City
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;
(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the severance described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be taken and further declares:
(i) Section 13 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN570/103, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991; and
(ii) Section 14 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN48C/989, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991;
(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), further declares:
(i) Sections 8 and 12 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 36815, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991;
(ii) Section 9 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN570/103, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991; and
(iii) Sections 10 and 11 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN48C/989, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991
on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
