Recognition of the Mines Rescue Trust Board Under the Mines Rescue Act 2013
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Recognition of the Mines Rescue Trust Board Under the Mines Rescue Act 2013 notice.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 March 2014.
- Recognition details—Pursuant to section 7 of the Mines Rescue Act 2013, I hereby give notice that, as at 1 March 2014 (the appointed day), I recognise the Mines Rescue Trust Board incorporated under Part 2 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, which first met on 12 February 2014, and which I am satisfied:
(a) has the functions set out in section 8 of the Mines Rescue Act 2013; and
(b) comprises the persons required by section 9 of the Mines Rescue Act 2013.

Education Act 1989
Alternative Constitution for the Board of Trustees of Our Lady of Victories School (3463)
Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989, I hereby approve the following constitution for the board of trustees of Our Lady of Victories School.
The board of trustees of Our Lady of Victories School will be made up of the following members:
- Two parent representatives;
- the Principal;
- one staff representative;
- up to three ministerial appointees; and
- up to four proprietor’s representatives.
The appointment of a trustee may be for a term not exceeding three years.
Sections 96, 97, 101, 104 and 105 of the Education Act 1989 will apply in respect of the board.
For the first elections of parent representatives and staff representative, a returning officer will be appointed by the commissioner and will carry out the duties in accordance with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000.
All trustees will take office when the current commissioner’s appointment ends.
The first term of office for trustees elected and appointed under this constitution will end seven days after the next triennial election for boards of trustees in 2016.
This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
