The Approved Code of Practice for the Management of Noise in the Workplace (1st Edition)† has been superseded by a second edition Approved Code of Practice of the same name.
The Approved Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Timber Preservatives and Antisapstain Chemicals‡ has been superseded by the Best Practice Guidelines for the Safe Use of Timber Preservatives and Antisapstain Chemicals.
If you wish to make a submission on the proposed revocation of any or all of the above Approved Codes of Practice you may do so by filling in the submission form available on Worksafe New Zealand’s website at
www.business.govt.nz/worksafe/about/who-we-work-with/consultation/open-for-consultation
The consultation period for the proposal to revoke the Approved Codes of Practice closes on Friday 26 December 2014.

Approval of Brake Testing Device
Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 (“the Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the NZ Transport Agency, I, Stephen Arthur Bullôt, Senior Engineer, Operations Support, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake forces of vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements of light-vehicle brakes contained in the Rule for both Warrant of Fitness and Certificate of Fitness "A".
