Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.
Notice

This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Whanganui 2014, No. 1.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Road to be Stopped—Tongariro Street (State Highway 1, State Highway 5), Taupo Control Gates, Taupo District
Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares, pursuant to section 117(7), shall be added to the adjoining land held for a public work (development of water-power) contained in Gazette Notice 37747 (New Zealand Gazette, 3 April 1952, No. 25, page 456), and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
