Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve, and Vesting That Reserve in the Waimate District Council
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the South Canterbury Conservation Partnerships Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the appointment of the Waimate Historical Society Incorporated to control and manage the Waimate Court House Historic Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, and further vests the said reserve in the Waimate District Council in trust for historic reserve purposes.

Classification of Recreation Reserve
Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby notifies that a resolution was adopted at its meeting on 28 August 2014, declaring the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977.

Tūhoe Claims Settlement Act 2014
Notice of Altered Geographic Names and a Discontinued Crown Protected Area Name for Tūhoe Treaty of Waitangi Settlement 2014
Pursuant to section 94 of the Te Urewera Act 2014 and sections 47 and 48 of the Tūhoe Claims Settlement Act 2014 ("Settlement Act 2014"), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of six altered geographic names and one discontinued Crown protected area (CPA) name.
Schedule 1 below specifies the details of the altered geographic names; their geographic feature types; their descriptions; and their former names.
Schedule 2 below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA name; its generic term; its description; and its former New Zealand Gazette.
The official geographic names and discontinued CPA name took effect on 25 August 2014, being the settlement date of the Te Urewera Act 2014 and the Settlement Act 2014.
Pursuant to section 49 of the Settlement Act 2014, the Board may in the future agree to alter any official geographic name, as listed in Schedule 1 below, with the consent of the trustees of Tūhoe Te Uru Taumatua.
