The Authorised Futures Dealers (Edge Capital Markets Limited) Notice 2011 Amendment Notice 2014

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Financial Markets Authority gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Authorised Futures Dealers (Edge Capital Markets Limited) Notice 2011 Amendment Notice 2014.

2. Commencement—This notice comes into force on its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. Principal notice—This notice amends The Authorised Futures Dealers (Edge Capital Markets Limited) Notice 2011* (“principal notice”).

4. Renewal of principal notice—Clause 1(3) of the principal notice is amended by deleting “30 September 2014” and replacing it with “28 November 2014”.

5. Amendment to the definition of Company—Clause 2(1) of the principal notice is amended by deleting the definition of Company and replacing it with the following definition:

   “Company means BBY (NZ) Limited.”

6. Amendment to title—The title of the principal notice is changed to

   “The Authorised Futures Dealers (BBY (NZ) Limited) Notice 2011”.

Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Notice of Approval of Amendment to Approved Code of Practice for Safety and Health in Forest Operations: Roles and Responsibilities of Principals and Contractors

I, Simon Bridges, Minister of Labour, give notice that I have approved an amendment to the Approved Code of Practice for Safety and Health in Forest Operations (the Approved Code of Practice), pursuant to section 20A of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

This amendment adds a supplement to the Approved Code of Practice entitled “Roles and Responsibilities of Principals and Contractors”.

The amendment sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for forestry principals, contractors and workers in the forestry industry.

Notice of New and Altered Geographic Names, and Altered and Discontinued Crown Protected Area Names for Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau Collective Treaty of Waitangi Settlement 2014

Pursuant to sections 18, 49, 87, 102 and 103, and Schedule 6 clause 12, of the Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau Collective Redress Act 2014 (“Settlement Act 2014”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of six new and 14 altered geographic names, and two altered and one discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) names.
