Road Realignment—State Highway 1, Piarere, South Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jemma Cooper, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114(1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register SA310/316, subject to Gazette Notice S562596, Mortgage H950599.2, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Corrigendum—Redefining the Area of the Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the area of land set apart as a Māori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 July 2010, No. 83, page 2298, is hereby redefined in terms of the area of land set out in the Schedule hereunder to bring 2800 square metres, being part of the land included in Computer Interest Register 504710, within the reservation to make the total area of land included in the reservation 2.0965 hectares.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae, for the common use and benefit of the members if Ngatitoro hapū of Ngapuhi, to be included in the existing Māori reservation known as the Mataitaua Marae Māori Reservation over the Māori freehold land known as Utakura No. 2D No. 8A No. 3A, being all that land described in Computer Freehold Register 474042, North Auckland Land Registry, and was, by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 January 1999, No. 8, page 217, set aside for the purpose.
