Issued Accounting Standard: Interests in Other Entities (Amendments to PBE SFR-A (PS)) (Notice No. 81)

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 24 of the Financial Reporting Act 2013, that the New Zealand Accounting Standards Board of the External Reporting Board has issued Interests in Other Entities (Amendments to PBE SFR-A (PS)).

Interests in Other Entities (Amendments to PBE SFR-A (PS)):

applies to Tier 3 public sector public benefit entities; and
applies to annual periods beginning on or after 1 July 2014, with early application not permitted; and
is a disallowable instrument for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2012.

Copies of the standard may be inspected free of charge at the offices of the External Reporting Board (XRB), Level 7, 50 Manners Street, Wellington.

Commodity Levies (Maize) Order 2012

Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated

Pursuant to section 4 of the Commodity Levies (Maize) Order 2012, a levy has been imposed on, and shall be payable by, the growers of any maize seed sold for sowing.

In accordance with section 11 of the order, the Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated has determined the rate of the levy for July 2014 to June 2015 to be:

Maize – 90 cents per 10,000 seeds.
