Notice of Final Determinations to Alter Official Geographic Names

Pursuant to sections 19 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of the final determinations to alter existing geographic names.

The altered geographic names are now official geographic names and are specified in the first column of the Schedule below (“Schedule”).

The geographic feature type that each altered official geographic name relates to is set out in the second column of the Schedule below.

The description of each altered official geographic name is set out in the third column of the Schedule below.

The Board’s final determinations on these official geographic names took effect on 28 August 2014.
