Crown Entities Act 2004

Notice of Approval Given Pursuant to Section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004

Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jeremy Salmond, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 24 July 2013, the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Anthony Boyd Williams Ryall, Minister of Health, gave approval, under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 162 of that Act, for the Pharmaceutical Management Agency (PHARMAC) to enter into credit arrangements with the Crown for the purpose of funding the implementation of PHARMAC’s expanded role in the procurement of medical devices, to a maximum total amount of $5.65 million, subject to the following conditions:

(a) the credit facility may not be drawn down after 31 December 2015, and any funds drawn against it are to be repaid in full by 20 June 2017; and

(b) any further conditions specified in the loan agreement between PHARMAC and the Ministry of Health.

Government Roading Powers Act 1989

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road—State Highway 60, Ruby Bay Bypass, Tasman District

Pursuant to section 88(l) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, the NZ Transport Agency gives notice that, with effect from 28 days from the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, part of State Highway 60, described in the Schedule to this notice, is to be declared as limited access road.

Schedule

The Ruby Bay Bypass in the Tasman District, commencing at Route Position (RP) 0114.12, approximately 100 metres south of the Nile Road intersection with State Highway 60, extending in a generally northerly direction to RP 17/8.75 (new RP 15/8.85), 50 metres south of the northern Johnstone Loop Road intersection with State Highway 60; a total distance of 9.30 kilometres.
