Notice of Treaty of Waitangi Settlement Discontinued Crown Protected Area Name for Waitaha

Pursuant to section 98 of the Waitaha Claims Settlement Act 2013 (“the Settlement Act 2013”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of a discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) name.

The Schedule below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA name; its generic term; its description; and former New Zealand Gazette.

The discontinued CPA name took effect on 11 July 2013, being the date that the Settlement Act 2013 came into effect.
