Road Realignment—State Highway 1 Kamo Road
and Western Hills Drive, Whangarei District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation
from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought,
Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in
the First Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest
in the Whangarei District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in
the Second Schedule to this notice to be road which,
pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading
Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and
State highway and shall vest in the Crown.

(c) Pursuant to section 20(1), declares that, pursuant to
agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land
described in the Third Schedule to this notice is acquired
for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip)
and shall vest in the Crown.

(d) Pursuant to section 52(1), declares the land described
in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be set apart for
the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip)
and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(e) Pursuant to section 119, declares the severance
described in the Fifth Schedule to this notice to be taken
and further declares:

(i) Section 34 shall be amalgamated with the land in
Computer Freehold Register NA890/54;

(ii)    Sections 36 and 38 shall be amalgamated with the
land in Computer Freehold Register NA13D/702;

(iii)   Section 39 shall be amalgamated with the land in
Computer Freehold Register NA884/244;

on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
