Notification of Proposal to Make Ordinary Rules

In accordance with section 34(1)(a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of his intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:

Omnibus 2013

The purpose of this rule-making proposal is to make minor editorial and minor technical amendments to various Parts of the Civil Aviation Rules.

The primary objectives of the proposed amendments include the correction of spelling and grammatical errors, the updating of various rules in accordance with current International Civil Aviation Organisation standards, definitions and abbreviations, and the revocation of specific transitional arrangements.

Government Roading Powers Act 1989

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003

New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2013/2

Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

  1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2013/2 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Amendments—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10* is hereby amended by:

  • Amending line 73 in Schedule 1 to read:

    “Line No.: 73
    Region: 2
    SH No.: 1
    Locality: Onewa Interchange to Newmarket
    Section of State Highway: SOUTHBOUND – from 45m south of the southern abutment of the Onepoto Stream Bridge to 300m south of the southern abutment of the Newmarket Viaduct.”
