Notification of the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2013

On Monday 20 May 2013, pursuant to clause 3(7) of Schedule 1 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, made the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2013 Order (No 2) 2013.

This order:

(a) issues the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2013 to come into force on 24 May 2013, and

(b) revokes the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2013 Order 2013.

A copy of the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2013 is available for public inspection on the New Zealand Petroleum & Minerals website

Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978

Application to Film Marine Mammals

Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Conservation notifies that he has received a permit application from

Stephen J. Hudson, of Pelagic Productions Limited

to film marine mammals underwater as well as with a pole camera over a three-year period commencing 1 August 2013 above and underwater in New Zealand’s waters.

A copy of the application can be obtained from Darcy Liddell, Department of Conservation, Permissions Hamilton, Level 3, 73 Rostrevor Street, Hamilton.

Any person wishing to make a submission on this application can do so by writing to Darcy Liddell, Department of Conservation, Permissions Hamilton, Level 3, 73 Rostrevor Street, Hamilton, within 28 days after publication of this notice.

Unless a person making a submission states to the contrary in the submission, that person will be deemed to give his/her consent to the release under the Official Information Act 1982 of all the information in the submission.

Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Alcoholic Beverages Indexation) Amendment Order 2013

Notice is hereby given of the making, pursuant to section 79 of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, of Regulations for the purposes of the Regulations (Disallowance) Act 1989.

Notice

1. Title—This order is the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Alcoholic Beverages Indexation) Amendment Order 2013.

2. Commencement—The order shall come into force on 1 July 2013.

3. Effect of order—This order adjusts the excise and excise-equivalent duties on alcoholic beverages to reflect the movement in the Consumers Price Index (excluding credit services) over the 12-month period ending on 31 March 2013.
