Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Erin Stephen, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for local purpose (esplanade) reserve and shall vest in the Manawatu District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977
Classification of Reserves in Wellington City
Pursuant to Reserves Act 1977, the Wellington City Council, following a resolution dated the 10th day of June 2010, hereby gives notice that all such land described in the Schedules are classified as reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act:
(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(b) of the Reserves Act 1977;
(b) The land described in the Second Schedule to this notice as local purpose (water reservoir) reserve for the purposes specified in section 23 of the Reserves Act 1977;
