Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, William Malcolm Naik, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Auckland Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA616/114, subject to Mortgage 8984526.4, on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Legalisation—State Highway 77 at River Terrace and Grigg Street, Ashburton

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, William Malcolm Naik, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 77 and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Ashburton District Council;

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and vested in the Ashburton District Council as public reserve and held together with the land contained in Document 190162.1 Canterbury Land Registry on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
