Conditions for permitted high level health claims

(b) the food must contain no less than 90% fruit or vegetable by weight. |
| Beta-glucan | Reduces blood cholesterol | | Diet low in saturated fatty acids

Diet containing 3 g of beta-glucan per day | The food must contain —

(a) one or more of the following oat or barley foods —

(i) oat bran;

(ii) wholegrain oats; or

(iii) wholegrain barley; and

(b) at least 1 g per serving of beta-glucan from the foods listed in (a). |
| Calcium | Enhances bone mineral density | | Diet high in calcium | The food must contain no less than 200 mg of calcium per serving. |
