Southern North Island

All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:

From the Owahanga River mouth up the Owahanga River to the junction of Coast Road and Marainanga Road; then

Continue south-west along Marainanga Road and Sugarloaf Road to the boundary of the Wellington Regional Council; then

Continue west along the Wellington Regional Council boundary Section 20 Block X Owahanga Survey District; then

Follow the southern boundaries of Section 20 Block X Owahanga Survey District and Lot 2 DP 29315, Lot 1 DP 29315, Section 24 Block IX Owahanga Survey District D, Part Lot 1 DP 10913, Lot 2 DP 16264, Lot 4 DP 16264, Lot 3 DP 16264, Lot 4 DP 13267, Lot 3 DP 13267, Part Lot 1 DP 13267, and Sections 19, 22, 15, 14 of Block XII Puketoi Survey District until it meets the Wellington Regional Council boundary; then

In a general west south-west direction along the regional boundary.

At the point where the regional boundary meets Waitawhiti Road follow the road in an easterly direction, along the southern and western boundaries of Section 17 Block XVI Puketoi Survey District and Lot 1 DP 367506, Section 33 Block XVI Puketoi Survey District, Section 26 Block XVI Puketoi Survey District, and Lot 1 DP 54033 to Te Mai Road.

Follow Te Mai Road south and then west to the junction with Tanawa Road; then

Follow Tanawa Road south to where it changes to the Tinui Valley Road; then

Follow the Tinui Valley Road to the Masterton-Castlepoint Road; then

Follow the Masterton-Castlepoint Road in a westerly direction to the point opposite Adams Peak Road; then

Follow the western boundaries of Part Lot 2 DP 7201 and Part Lot 20 DP 14710, Part Lot 19 DP 14710, Lot 4 DP 81265, Part Lot 2 DP 11340, and Lot 1 DP 69972 until Lot 2 DP 81119.

Continue west along the northern boundary of Lot 2 DP 81119, the western boundary of Part Section 672 Whareama District, and the northern boundaries of Part Section 674 Whareama District and Part Section 673 Whareama District, until it intersects with Puketiritiri Road; then

Follow Puketiritiri Road in a westerly direction to the Masterton-Stronvar Road; then

Follow the Masterton-Stronvar Road in a westerly direction to the Wainuioru River; then

Follow the Wainuioru River downstream to Bush Gully Road; then

Follow Bush Gully Road west to Hinakura Road; then

Follow Hinakura Road in a westerly direction to Todds Road; then

Follow Todds Road south to Oxford Street; then

Follow Oxford Street west to Martinborough Memorial Square and continue west to Kitchener Street (State Highway 53); then

Follow State Highway 53 north-west to the Tauherenikau River; then

Follow the Tauherenikau River upstream to the eastern boundary of the Tararua Forest Park; then

Follow the eastern boundary of the park in a general south-westerly direction to Trig Wallace Featherston at Grid Reference NZMG x2703281, y6009732; then

North-west in a direct line to Trig Saddle (Akatarawa Saddle) at Grid Reference NZMG x2687473, y6026560; then

From Trig Saddle in a south-west direct line to the Paekakariki Hill Road at Grid Reference NZMG x2673171, y6016633.

Follow the Paekakariki Hill Road south to Pauatahanui; then

From Pauatahanui follow State Highway 58 east to the intersection with State Highway 2; then

Follow State Highway 2 south to the Petone foreshore; then

From the Petone foreshore east follow the coastline to Pencarrow Head, to Turakirae Head, to Cape Palliser, to Castlepoint, to the Owahanga River mouth.

Tasman/West Coast

All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:

From where the Motueka West Bank Road meets the Motueka River, one kilometre south of Brooklyn, in a westerly direction to Hailes Knob; then

In a westerly direction along the Arthur Range to Pyramid Ridge one kilometre south of Cloustons Mine; then

Along the Pyramid Range to Sphinx Valley Cave; then

West to Tableland; then

North along the Lake Peel Track to the ridgeline south of Lake Peel; then

North-west to Mt Peel; then

Along the Peel Range to Mt Ranoll; then

North to Mt Prospect; then

North-west to Mt Cobb along the ridgeline; then

North along the Peel Range to Aorere Peak; then

West to the Dommett Mountain Range along the ridgeline to Centre Mountain; then

North-west to the southern ridge surrounding Lake Aorere; then

North then west along the Dommett Range to Amohia Peak; then

North along the Gouland Range to Mt Gouland; then

North to spot height 1421 one kilometre south of Kaka Saddle; then

West along Tubman Range to Tubman Hill; then
