I declare the result of the referendum taken over the period commencing on 22 November and ending on 13 December 2013 on the question "Do you support the Government selling up to 49% of Meridian Energy, Mighty River Power, Genesis Power, Solid Energy and Air New Zealand?" to be as follows:

Votes received for the response Yes: 442,985

Votes received for the response No: 920,188
