Land Acquired for Road and for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road (Segregation Strip)—State Highway 1 Te Rapa Bypass, Avalon Drive, Hamilton City

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Earnshaw, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice is to be acquired for road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1;

(b) The land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
