Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares the road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further, pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, set apart for motorway purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Restriction Created—Mangatawhiri Road, State Highway 2, Mangatawhiri, Waikato District

Pursuant to section 236 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Natasha Pollard, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule (“Land”) to be subject to the following restrictions.

Definitions

Land means the Land described in the Schedule.

Owner means the registered proprietor of the Land from time to time.

Shelter Belt means the hedge located on the northern boundary of the Land.

1. To ensure that the Shelter Belt remains sited in its current position, no person shall:

(a) Remove, bum or cause or permit to be removed or burned any part of the Shelter Belt unless the prior written consent of the NZ Transport Agency has been obtained in accordance with Clause 3 of this Notice; and

(b) Allow or permit cattle, sheep, horses or other livestock to enter, graze, feed or otherwise damage the Shelter Belt; and

(c) Allow the Shelter Belt to fall into disrepair.
