Notice of Vacancy in Seat in House of Representatives

Pursuant to section 134(1) of the Electoral Act 1993,
I, David Cunningham Carter, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Alexander Lockwood Smith has resigned his seat in the House of Representatives with effect at 12.00 midnight on Thursday 14 February 2013, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.
