The 2014 Rules amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2013) and incorporate revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.

The 2014 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:

(a) World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List International Standard;

(b) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions;

(c) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing;

(d) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories; and

(e) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information.

The 2014 Rules and the material incorporated by reference can be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

Copies of the 2014 Rules and material incorporated by reference can be purchased from Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

The 2014 Rules and material incorporated by reference can be viewed on the Drug Free Sport New Zealand website www.drugfreesport.org.nz/

The Sports Anti-Doping Rules 2014 come into force on 1 January 2014.

Electricity Industry Act 2010

Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 183 (Contact Energy Limited)) Exemption Notice 2013

Pursuant to section 11 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010 (“Act”), the Electricity Authority gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 183 (Contact Energy Limited)) Exemption Notice 2013.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption—Contact Energy Limited (“Contact”) is exempted from complying with the obligation in clause 11 of Schedule 15.3 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”) to maintain a distributed unmetered load (“DUML”) database for installation control point (“ICP”) 0015768900ELB35.

  2. Term—This exemption expires at the close of 31 May 2014.

  3. Reasons for granting the exemption—The reasons for granting this exemption are:

(a) granting the exemption meets the requirements in section 11(2) of the Act for granting exemptions;

(b) Contact intends to install a metering installation at the ICP;

(c) creating a DUML database for a short period of time is an unnecessary interim cost for Contact; and

(d) the exemption will have little or no impact on other participants and service providers, and will not affect any other Code provisions.

Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 184 (Contact Energy Limited)) Exemption Notice 2013

Pursuant to section 11 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010 (“Act”), the Electricity Authority (“Authority”) gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 184 (Contact Energy Limited)) Exemption Notice 2013.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption—Contact Energy Limited (“Contact”) is exempted from complying with the obligation in clause 10.14(2)(b) of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”) to ensure that unmetered load is not greater than the relevant unmetered load threshold, in respect of the following eight installation control points:

(a) 0016096032EL6DD;

(b) 0008801012TP900;

(c) 0014189134HBC96;

(d) 0005000772HBA61;

(e) 0015768900ELB35;

(f) 0000038627NTADB;

(g) 0001183605HB0B0; and

(h) 0000557925UND32.

  1. Term—This exemption expires at the close of 31 May 2014.
