Maritime Security Act 2004

Designation of a Port Security Area

Pursuant to section 45 of the Maritime Security Act 2004, I, Keith Manch, Chief Executive of Maritime New Zealand, hereby designate the following area on Queens Wharf, Auckland, as a port security area:

• All that area of land and wharf when within the fenced and sign-posted area on the western boundary of Queens Wharf, including the entire berthing area and internal buildings of the adjacent passenger terminal commonly known as "The Cloud".

This designation comes into force on the day after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Industry Training Act 1992

Notice of Extension of Coverage for the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated for the Flooring Industry, the Painting and Paperhanging Industry (Painting and Decorating), and the Joinery Industry

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated as an Industry Training Organisation has been granted an extension of coverage for five years from 28 December 2013 to 27 December 2018 to set standards at Levels 1–8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the automotive re-glazing, glass and glazing, joinery, architectural aluminium joinery, kitchen and bathroom design and manufacturing, and interior design industries and an extension of coverage for five years from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2018 to set standards at Levels 1–8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the flooring and painting and paperhanging (painting and decorating) industries.
