Amendment to Notice of Alternative Constitution for the Board of Trustees of Makoura College (243)
Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989 (“the Act”), I hereby amend the notice of alternative constitution for the board of trustees of Makoura College (243), Masterton, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 March 2011, No. 32, page 858, by replacing the full text of that notice with the following.
I approve the following constitution for the board of trustees of Makoura College:
- The principal of the school;
- up to three trustees appointed by the Minister of Education;
- five parent representatives;
- a staff representative;
- a student representative; and
- up to four trustees either co-opted by the board or appointed by bodies corporate approved by the board for the purpose.
The constitution will operate as if sections 96, 97, 99, 101, 102, 104 and 105 of the Act apply where relevant.
This notice takes effect the day of its publication.

Explanatory Note
No current parent representative, staff representative, co-opted or appointed trustee shall go out of office as a result of this amendment.

Resource Management Act 1991
The Resource Management (Approval of Waipa Networks Limited as a Requiring Authority) Notice 2013
Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Waipa Networks Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2013.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after its date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Waipa Networks Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 for its network utility operations of:
“line function” services, which has the meaning as given to that term by section 2 of the Electricity Act 1992. (These operations are limited to the Otorohanga, Waipa, Waitomo and Waikato Districts.)
- This approval includes infrastructure relating to the storage, supply and distribution and transmission of electricity.
