Appointments to the New Zealand Story Advisory Board

Pursuant to clause 28(3)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004,

Appointed Board and Interim Period for the Merger of Central New Brighton School (3311), North New Brighton School (3448) and Freeville School (3344)

Pursuant to section 156A(4) of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

Constitution of the Appointed Board of the Continuing School

1. The Board of North New Brighton School (3448), Christchurch as the continuing school, will have the following constitution for the duration of the interim period:

   • Up to seven people appointed by the Minister of Education (one of whom may be designated as the Chair).
   • The principal designate.

2. The Board may not co-opt additional members.

Interim Period

3. The interim period will commence on 27 January 2014 and end at the close of day before the date on which new trustees take office following an election.

This notice comes into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
