Notice of Appointment of Receivers and Managers of Company Property

Pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the Receiverships Act 1993

Craig William Melhuish and Lynda Jane Smart, chartered accountants of HFK Limited, hereby give notice that on 23 October 2013, they were appointed jointly and severally as receivers and managers of the property of BARREN HOLDINGS (2003) LIMITED (“the company”) under the powers contained in the following instruments:

(a) A general security agreement dated the 30th day of September 2008, in relation to all present and after-acquired property, and all personal property in which the company has rights; and

(b) A specific security agreement dated the 30th day of September 2008, in relation to all of the company’s present and after-acquired livestock; and

(c) A specific security agreement dated the 30th day of September 2008, in relation to all dairy proceeds in Fonterra Co-Operative Group Limited; and

(d) A specific security agreement dated the 29th day of July 2010, in relation to all present and after-acquired dairy company shares in Fonterra Co-Operative Group Limited.

Any creditor or shareholder of the company should urgently contact the receiver.
