Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992

Appointment of Directors of Area Mental Health Services

Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, I, Kevin Woods, Director-General of Health:

revoke all previous notices made by the Director-General of Health, pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992; and
designate the persons set out in Schedule 1 to this notice as Directors of Area Mental Health Services for the areas indicated.

Each Director of Area Mental Health Services is appointed to:

(a) the area of a District Health Board (DHB), as defined in Schedule 1 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000; or

(b) the area of a Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service, as defined in Schedule 2 of this notice.
