Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservation Partnership Manager for Eastern Bay of Plenty District, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as local purpose (segregation strip) reserve over the lands described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Whakatane District Council in such manner and on terms and conditions as the council determines.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Land Apart as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for an urupā to be known as Takotoroa to be held for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tukino Maraki.
