Reappointment to the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (Notice No. MPI 206)
Pursuant to sections 58 and 59 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, I hereby reappoint
Susan Eleanor Brown
to be a member of the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee for a period commencing on 1 November 2013 and expiring on 31 October 2016.

Biosecurity Act 1993
Approval of South Port New Zealand Limited, Located at the Port of Bluff, as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. MPI 248)
Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that South Port New Zealand Limited, located at the Port of Bluff, was approved on 27 September 2013 as a place of first arrival into New Zealand for the arrival of the following craft:
Bulk cargo; general cargo; naval/military; passenger; pleasure craft (ie yachts), project vessels (dredges, oil rigs and fishing) and tankers.
The approval is limited to discharging the following imported cargo types:
Bulk cargo; bulk liquids; containers; general cargo; passengers, crew and baggage; and vehicles and machinery.
This approval does not include discharge of bulk fresh produce and live animals.
A copy of the written notice of approval certificate may be inspected or obtained at the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington 6011. Postal Address: PO Box 2526, Wellington 6140.

Approval of New Zealand Aluminium Smelters Limited, Located at the Port of Bluff, as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. MPI 249)
Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that New Zealand Aluminium Smelters Limited, located at the Port of Bluff, was approved on 25 September 2013 as a place of first arrival into New Zealand for the arrival of the following craft:
Bulk cargo and general cargo.
The approval is limited to discharging the following imported cargo types:
Break bulk non-risk goods only; general cargo (including empty or containerised cargo); passengers, crew and baggage; and vehicles and machinery.
This approval does not include arrival of other craft (naval/military; passenger; tankers; pleasure craft (ie yachts)); project vessels (dredge, oil rigg, fishing); or discharge of other cargo types (bulk liquids; fresh produce and live animals).

Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that New Zealand Sugar Company Limited, located at the Port of Chelsea, Auckland, was approved on 27 September 2013 as a place of first arrival into New Zealand for the arrival of craft.
The approval is limited to the arrival of bulk cargo craft for the purpose of discharging bulk cargo only.
This approval does not include arrival of other types of craft (general cargo; naval/military; passenger; pleasure craft (ie yachts); project vessels (project, dredge, fishing); or tankers) or for discharging other types of goods (bulk liquids; containers; fresh produce; general cargo; live animals; passengers, crew and baggage, and vehicles and machinery).
