Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Director Conservation Partnerships for the South and Eastern South Island Region of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (gravel) reserve to a scenic reserve for the purpose specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.

Declaration That Land is a Recreation Reserve
Pursuant to sections 14 and 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Auckland Council hereby notifies that a resolution was adopted by the North Shore City Council at its meeting on 27 January 2010, declaring that the land described in the Schedule hereto be classified as a recreation reserve pursuant to section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.
