Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice for Motueka High School, Tasman (298) and Timaru Girls’ High School, Canterbury (361)

Pursuant to clause 9(3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the election for student representatives for the boards of trustees of Motueka High School, Tasman, and Timaru Girls’ High School, Canterbury, and require new elections to be held on 31 October 2013 for Motueka High School, Tasman, and on 1 November 2013 for Timaru Girls’ High School, Canterbury, and declare that the elected representatives who held office on the date of the invalid election remain in office until the close of the day before the day on which the new trustees take office.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.
