Corrections Act 2004

Notification by the Commissioner of Police

Pursuant to Section 45A of the Corrections Act 2004: Rules About Authorised Property

I, Michael Rusbatch, Assistant Commissioner of Police and holder of the delegated powers of the Commissioner of Police, hereby give notice that on 19 September 2013,

I will make rules, under section 45A of the Corrections Act 2004, declaring the items of property that prisoners may be issued with or allowed to keep and imposing conditions that attach to those items.

The rules will be published on the New Zealand Police website

www.police.govt.nz

The rules will be available for inspection at:

• the reception of Police National Headquarters at 180 Molesworth Street, Wellington; and
• the reception area of every police jail.

Copies of the rules may be obtained, free of charge, from the website, Police National Headquarters reception and the reception area of every police jail.
