Notice Stating Where Copies of the Proposal to Amend Compliance Documents B1, B2, C, D2, E1, E2, E3, F6, F8, G4 and G7–14 are Available, and Where Materials Proposed to be Incorporated by Reference into These Compliance Documents are Available for Inspection and Purchase

Pursuant to section 29 of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice that the following Compliance Documents are proposed to be amended:

  • B1 – Structure
  • E1 – Surface Water
  • E3 – External Moisture
  • G12 – Water Supplies
  • G13 – Foul Water

Pursuant to sections 406 and 409 of the Act, I give notice that the following Compliance Documents for the New Zealand Building Code are proposed to be amended by changes to material incorporated by reference:

  • D2 – Mechanical Installations for Access
  • E1 – Surface Water

The Statement of Proposal for the changes to the Compliance Documents and material incorporated by reference in these Compliance Documents can be downloaded free of charge from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (“Ministry”) website

The Statement of Proposal is also available from the Wellington office of the Ministry at Level 1, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
