Biosecurity Act 1993
Notice Relating to Biosecurity (National Psa-V Pest Management Plan) Order 2013
Section 7(4) of the Biosecurity (National Psa-V Pest Management Plan) Order 2013 (“Order”) requires Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH) to ensure awareness of the boundaries and status of “exclusion”, “containment”, and “recovery” regions under the National Pest Management Plan (NPMP).
Section 12(4) of the Order gives KVH the power to declare controlled areas and impose movement controls on “risk items” under section 131 of the Biosecurity Act 1993.
KVH has published on its website the boundaries and status of the regions and also the following notices relating to the controlled areas and the movement controls on risk items related to those regions.
