Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Tamariki School (4143)

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Tamariki School.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
• all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise);
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to establish processes for planning and reporting (whether statutory or otherwise) including charter review, strategic planning, and annual planning; and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise).

Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 19 March 2012, which was granted under those Regulations to Fiona Hughes in respect of Edukids Ponsonby Babies Cottage (20331), situated at 62 Vermont Street, Ponsonby, Auckland.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(ii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 22 November 2011, which was granted under those Regulations to Fakhere Badiei in respect of Hope Childcare Centre (10153), situated at 29A Noel Williams Place, Mairangi Bay, Auckland.

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 9 April 2010, which was granted under those Regulations to Carol Crighton in respect of Bayfield - Babies & Toddlers (10195), situated at 272 Jervois Road, Herne Bay, Auckland.
