Annotation of Notes

1 Fee will be adjusted for any specific requirements of the individual programme and 3rd party costings at the time the programme is established.

2 Direct professional fees and travel expenses for Supervisors, those providing oversight, Tutor/Course Administrators etc are to be reimbursed by the practitioner on the individual programme. Expenses claimed are on an actual and reasonable basis in accordance with the council’s fees and expenditure policies. Course materials, venue costs and administration expenses such as postage and photocopying will be charged based on actual costs.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Commodity Levies (Maize) Order 2012, a levy has been imposed on, and shall be payable by, the growers of any maize seed sold for sowing.

In accordance with section 11 of the order, the Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated has determined the rate of the levy for July 2013 to June 2014 to be:

Maize – 90 cents per 10,000 seeds.

Notice of Recommendations for Amendments to Gas Governance Regulations

This notice is issued by Gas Industry Company Limited (“Gas Industry Co”) approved as the industry body by Order in Council under section 43ZL of the Gas Act 1992 (“the Act”).

Section 43O of the Act provides that Gas Industry Co must publicise any recommendation and assessment completed under section 43N of the Act after making a recommendation for a gas governance regulation to the Minister of Energy and Resources.

Recommendations

On 23 July 2013, Gas Industry Co made two recommendations to the Minister of Energy and Resources for the approval of amendments to:

(1) the Gas Governance (Critical Contingency Management) Regulations 2008, under sections 43F(2)(a)(vi), 43S and 43T of the Act, so that the industry can better manage gas critical contingencies; and

(2) the Gas Governance (Compliance) Regulations 2008, under sections 43G(2)(k) and 43S of the Act, to make better provision for compliance with gas governance rules and regulations.
